Worship Experiences

Aldersgate Platform Ministry

We recognize there are many people at Aldersgate who have been given a gifting (talent) in worship and have a desire to use it to encourage others. We call this part of our ministry "Platform Ministry", and it includes vocalists, instrumentalists and technicians in sound, media and lighting involved with a weekend or other worship teams.

An evaluation is required for those desiring to be part of any of our platform ministry. There are two prerequisites:

Completion of an Aldersgate Worship Ministry Volunteer Application
Attendance at an evaluation meeting with the Worship Pastors

Evaluation meetings are offered several times a year and are designed to determine skill levels and commitment levels. They are low key, low stress meetings with our Worship Pastors.
