The Front Porch is where we meet new faces and welcome visitors to our home. That's exactly what you should expect from our Front Porch experiences. Think of them as an introduction to LifeTogether at Aldersgate.

In this larger group setting, you will have the opportunity to foster new relationships in a comfortable and fun environment. Whether you're at a conference or a dinner party, you can expect to talk, laugh and get to know each other on the Front Porch.

“Bring Back Happy” Women’s Retreat

This two day event combines video teaching by Beth Moore with small group break-out sessions for discussion, relationship-building, crafts, and lots of fun and laughter with other women.

• Dates: Friday, September 11, 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday, September 12, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Advance Tickets: $20 on or before September 4 (includes Saturday lunch)
• All Other Tickets: $30 after September 4 through September 11 (includes Saturday lunch)

Barbeque Bash for 20s and Early 30-Somethings

To celebrate the launch of Overflow (can the word Overflow be linked to their blurb on the LR page?), one of our newest adult Living Rooms, we’re having a barbeque bash. Eat and hang out, play horseshoes and ladderball, and meet other 20 & early 30-somethings. Childcare provided. Aldersgate Funnel Cake Booth at the South Plains Fair

You can’t help but get to know people when you make funnel cakes together (and eat all of your “mistakes”)! Sign up in the church foyer to work one or more shifts at Aldersgate’s funnel cake booth. All proceeds go to Missions so you’re not just making cakes…you’re digging water wells in Africa, sharing Jesus in the Middle East, providing shelter and education for orphans in Guatemala, feeding the hungry in Lubbock, and much, much more!
